Startup Saturday is an initiative by Headstart to provide entrepreneurs in each city with a monthly community driven forum that is structured in agenda but open in discussions. A Startup Saturday provides a forum for entrepreneurs to discuss, present, network and learn from peers, prospective customers, adopters, partners and investors.
The fundamental idea is to have all parts of the innovation ecosystem interact with each other with high frequency and through rich conversation. We strongly believe that this would lead to faster evolution of the entire ecosystem.

Twitter as you all know is a new form of social media which is catching up very fast. I am also an active twitterer and am popularly known as @ePandu in the big twitter verse. Being from Kolkata I realized that not many people who are from Kolkata actively tweet. The big world of twitter introduced me to BarCamps, Tweetups, Start Up Saturdays and what not. What really disappointed me was that none of these actually happened in Kolkata. It was only in Jan 2009 that the first ever BarCamp of Kolkata was held at the IIT Kharagpur Extension in Salt Lake, all thanks to @iMBA and @artagnon. Thanks to BarCamp I met a few people from twitter and the first ever tweet up also occurred in Kolkata on the very same day. All this happened way back in Jan 2nd 2009 and after that I was really disappointed seeing no gradual increase in the number of twitterer’s from Kolkata. I tried to arrange one tweetup when @ashishmohta came to Kolkata, but only me, @ashishmohta and @aritra_m turned up for the meet. Soon things changed and today i.e. on 21st June 2009 a major tweetup finally occurred in Kolkata. It was originally mine’s and @bassyc’s idea and thanks to @arjunghosh it became popular. Hey Ya fella’s!
This incident occurred during my absence from the online world. So it was Friday The 13th (Feburary) and I had gone to school. We had some tests so I had to go. During our English Period, Our Ma’am gave us some Grammar work which no one was interested in doing. Still we did, and we were discussing the answers with Ma’am. Since we were bored, we were shouting the answers at the top of our voice. Let me give you an example -
Q) I _ Sorry!
We were answering the answer “am” like “AMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM”. I think Himesh Reshamiyya’s soul had entered us and we all had gone mad 
. We were creating a hell lot of noise, and I just turned back to my friend and tell him jokingly that agar abhi princi aa jaye toh saba bamboo hoga (If our principal comes now, we would be Screwed). As soon as i said this statement and turned back, the door opens and OOOO Principal is shouting at the top of her voice. There was Pin drop silence in our class in less than a millisecond. Our Principal realized that she cannot screw the whole class so she made the 6 guys sitting in front of the teacher’s table the scrape goat which included me . She told us to tell our parents to come to school on Monday, and after that she gave us a long lecture on Discipline,Manners and Blah, Blah……Blah! So Wassup my dear readers? I am finally back to blogging. How I studied my ass off to pass 11 is one heck of a history. The good part is I have passed to 12, but the sad part is many of my friends have failed. 
I promise to myself that I will never ever screw myself as i had in Class 11. Well right now I am going to do some shopping, after all i have not gone to shopping for more than 4 months now. One thing i would like to add is that my School sucks….more of that in my next post.

Well My Exams Got Over Recently and my performance has been so brilliant that I feel proud of myself/scarcasm Everything I studied was Last Moment studies and so I really did not except much! Now I need to study and so I am going offline for quite a long time, and it may happen that this blog will be dead by then It happened last year and its happening this year as well, It Happens with me every year!!!
Well I will surely miss my Hackintosh,internet and everything which i do online
