Life of Rajesh

Well after I reached home Dad called me up and said that I will have to get the Airtel Broabband disconnected by the next day I said fine and then I called up an electrician so that he could redo the phone wiring. After he went I was excited thinking that finally no more of crappy Airtel Broadband. Then I thought that I should see what kinda speed I am getting in Dataone. I tried connecting the wire to the modem but the wire was too short. Then in the end I had to redo the whole wiring myself! It took me atleast 2 hours and I must have lost nearly 5Kg of my body weight. After the wiring was done I took a bath to refresh myself. After that I connected the telephone wire to the modem but still I did not get the link!!! I lost all the hope I had and went to sleep cursing my luck.

Next day when I again went to the BSNL office and they told me to call “198″ and complain there and So I did thinking that I will get the broadband up and working by night, but that did not happen and the BSNL people told me that I will get the link only by tomorrow, Again my luck had deserted me .Next Day when I came back from school thinking that now I can enjoy the 2Mbps speed but when I reached home I found that the BSNL office had sent the lineman and he re-did the whole wiring and put the broadband line in my Mom’s room and the New phone line in Computer room. I again had to redo the wiring and when it was done I connected the wire to the modem and I got the link!!! I was so happy, I setup-ed the connection but when it asked for my password I could not remember it !!!I tried using the default password but that did not work. So again the next day I had to run to the BSNL office complaining them that I have forgotten my Dataone password so please reset my account. It took them 3 days to do it !!!

On other things, life has been ok-ok for me with my luck still not with me I have been getting into a lot of troubles in School. Studying is something which I have totally forgot and my 2^nd set of exams are just a month away! I wanted hosting for my blog but mom is not giving me the money. I had 4000 bucks with me(Collected it for hosting,RS account and some other thing) but I gave my sis 2000 bucks and a 1 GB Memory Card on Rakhi. I had expected to receive a good (even if cheap) gift from her,but what I got was nothing .Now I don’t know how will I get the required money for hosting. If I start collecting now I will reach 850 bucks by the end of this month which will be a bit too late.

Well Usually Saturday has been my lucky day. You see I got my New Car’s On Saturday, Mobile on Saturday, Shifted to my new house on Saturday, Got my new PC on Saturday. So you see Saturday has really been lucky for me. Yesterday also it was a Saturday so I thought It was going to be lucky for me. It actually was I was going out with my friend to watch Heyy Babyy(I was going out with my friends after 4months).

We were going to go watch the 10 AM show, I had told my friend that we will be late and it will be useless to watch a movie at 10 AM still he argued with me and later on I agreed with him .Since in the morning I had my tution from 6,I still managed to reached City Centre at 10AM(Its a big place where you can freak out with friends, Come with your girl friend, Do shopping, Watch Movie and all, It won the CNBC most preffered Shopping Mall for the year 2007).My friend was 10 minutes late still we decided to watch the movie. We went to the ticket counter and on seeing the guy who was handling the counter that time I thought to myself “Kya Chomu aadmi hai”. We then asked for tickets of Heyy Babyy Saturday 10AM show, he showed us on the computer screen that only the front row was empty so we took tickets of 1:20PM show(We had to repeat 3 times that we needed Heyy Babyy Saturday 1:20PM show tickets, the man on the counter was really dumb)

Well after that me and my friend were roaming around in City Centre waiting for the clock to strike 1:20PM.Then I remembered that I had to go to BSNL office for inquiring about the status of my landline and Broadband. I called up mom and she sent the car at City Centre(Its just 2 mins away from my home).I went to the BSNL office along with my friend. I went to the Commercial office and asked a lady present there about my BB. Then she told that I have to go to Mr Lia whose office is in the 2^nd floor. I went their, found his office then he told that you first need to get your work number from the commercial officeK.I again went downstairs, went to the commercial office told the same lady that I need the work number then she told that she has not understood the problem correctly so she can’t give my work number to me. After that I had to explain her the case* which took me some 10 minutes. Then she took me to another lady and she told that in my Old number Broadband is workingK, but not on the new number so I have to re-apply for Broadband connection.

Then I went back to City Centre and as soon as I stepped out of the car Dad told to get a form for changing the EDGE plan, then I told Dad about the BSNL BB problem then he told me to tell them to send the lineman so that he can interchange the wiring. I again went back to the BSNL office, first to the mobile section so as to get the form to change the EDGE plan and then back to the commercial office and asked the same lady whom I had a talk earlier to send the lineman to my house. She said that I need to talk to Mr Lia for this and again I went upstairs to Mr Lia and told him to send the lineman but he told me that he is not going to send the lineman since interchanging the whole wiring will take lots of time. Then I went back to City Centre thinking that I will call an electrician and he will interchange change the wiring. I was totally exhausted by going to BSNL office and thought that now I can sit and enjoy a movie for 3 hours, but looks like God was not with me.

We entered the hall, sat on our seats and then we bought Popcorn and Cold Drink and when the movie was just about to begin, a gal and a guy came and told us that we were sitting on their seat, we then showed them our tickets then they showed us their tickets and both had the same seating number. Then the guy sitting next to us took our ticket and then told us that these tickets were for Sunday’s show. We then informed the INOX authorities who were inside the hall, they then took us to the manager and we then told the manager that we had asked for Saturday’s show ticket and not Sunday. He then told that you can watch the show if the seats are empty, few seats were empty but it was of the front row so we said we will like a refund instead of watching the movie. Then the manager told us to go to the ticket counter and ask for a refund. We went back to the ticket counter,the same guy was present who sold us the tickets, I then shouted at him saying that we had asked you for Saturday’s show ticket and not of Sunday. Then another guy told us that we cant refund you the money, then I again went back to the manager and told him that the person handling the ticket counter is refusing to pay the money back. Then he told us that we will have to come tomorrow and then we will get the money back. Since my friend lives far away from City Centre I gave him the ticket money. Both of us were totally exhausted so we went back to our home. Now I thought that now I can relax by sitting in front of PC but God was still not with me. I will add another entry in my blog about what happened with me later on, you see this post is already too long.

*P.S.-The Case with BSNL was that my dad not only revived the old BSNL number but applied for a new one as well. We wanted the BB on the new number. The BSNL people had messed up and they started my old BSNL number and Broadband on it instead of the new number we had asked for.
