I ll say-
Gadgets are very cheap in USA too….. Yes they are.
And in Dubai and Singapore, its cheap only if u buy from Duty-Free shops. Bcoz widout any tax, the price falls down a lot.

I saw a Lenovo laptop worth $600(approx Rs. 25000), with a lot of additional features free. Which in India, i saw at a price of Rs. 60000+(if i assemble all those additional features. And new gadgets are launched first in USA,and if u have the basic knowledge that prices of electronic goods come down wid tym. Another example was an Sony LCD TV worth $780(Rs. 32700) there, and Rs. 98,000 in India. And, in Dubai Duty-Free Shop it was 3700 Durhams(Rs. 48000). Now how can u say that Gadgets in Dubai are cheaper than in USA. And mind you, i saw all these within a week. So James, i feel U have got some false beliefs.

Dude Gadgets are dirt cheap in Singapore & Dubai as well..
I brought a 4 channel Model Aircraft real one for 1200 Rupee which if purchased in US would cost almot 4500 Rupee +

And talking about Gadgets again Dubai is Cheaper than US, so is Singapore
